Sotillo del Rincón is located on the north-west side of the province, at the foot of the Cebollera Mountainrange. In this area you can see the Razón River and the Razoncillo, effluent of the former, flowing through the land. You can either swim or sunbathe on the shore of the Razón River in a 100-metre long swimming area in the centre of the village called the “natural pool” (piscina natural).

Sotillo del Rincón’s most characteristic monument is the church of Nuestra Señora de la Natividad. Inside there is a baptismal font with a cylindrical base and a frustum, decorated with a waving ribbon on the upper part and under it there are rounded arches resting on double columns with bizarre geometrical shaped capitals.

This valley is known for its dairy products, especially its butter, so here you can go on the Butter Valley Route (Ruta del Valle de la Mantequilla) that passes through the villages Valdeavellano de Tera, Molinos de Razón and Sotillo del Rincón, where they have touristic and ethnologic performances depicting traditional techniques. Other performances they have are based on the old washing techniques done in fountains and paths in Valdeavellano de Tera, schools in Molinos de Razón and there is also a museum such as the Interpretation Centre of the Butter Valley, where you can learn about the accommodation of the Sotillo washhouse and the restoration of the bridge of La Lobera that between Molinos and Sotillo. This route helps us understand how people in this area used to live not so long ago.

In the quarter of Molinos de Razón you can see the parochial church of San Vicente Mártir and the chapel of San José.
