Almaluez is a small village with 172 inhabitants located in the south-east of the province. It includes the districts of Chércoles, Aguaviva de la Vega and Puebla de Eca.

A Celtiberian necropolis from the 4th and 3rd century B.C. was found in a nearby hill called “Modovar”.

The Church of Santa María Magdalena stands out for its Gothic-Renaissance style from the second quarter of the 16th century. The apse is polygonal and has a vault with star motifs under which we can find an extraordinary Baroque canopy made by Juan Sancho in 1712 that stands almost 10 metres high and 4 metres wide.

After a day of sightseeing, you can relax and swim at the municipal pools. Visit their official Facebook page for more information.
