Ólvega

Ólvega is located in the north-east part of the province, to the west of Mount Moncayo and the mountain range of Madero which from the Triassic terrain where the town is located. Ólvega is one of the most prosperous towns in the province where modern buildings mix with beautiful natural landscapes. It is the ideal place to spend summer near natural springs that water the land.

 

Some interesting spots are the chapel of Virgen de Olmacedo, the chapel of San Roque which is located in a park outside the village and was used as a quarantine station when there were epidemics, the chapel of San Marcos and the Tower of Campiserrado, and the Church of Santa María la Mayor, which in order to reach it, you must go through a beautiful walk in the nature near Moncayo and the other mountain ranges.
