Sacred Art Museum (Ágreda)

It has a remarkable Baroque altarpiece of the Virgen de la Peña, another one of Saint John the Evangelist (San Juan Evangelista) with a Gothic style, and the Holy Trinity as the Throne of Grace painted on a single tableau from the 15th century.

The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Peña has a Romanesque style with proto-Gothic elements that were added later on.

One hundred years later, the apses were replaced with Gothic major chapels. Among all the works of art that are exhibited here, the most noteworthy ones are the Romanesque carving of Virgen de la Peña, the Romanesque baptismal font with intertwined arches carved in one piece, the anonymous 18th-century altarpiece of Nuestra Señora de la Peña, two magnificent predellas from the 15th century, a 15th-century tableau of the Holy Trinity and the altarpiece of Virgen del Rosario.
