Monographic Museum (Montejo de Tiermes)

This museum, near the Celtiberian-Roman city of Tiermes, characterised by its prehistoric architecture, offers a collection of objects found in the excavations carried out in Tiermes, such as weapons or bronze and ceramic accessories from the 6th to the 3rd century B.C.E. There are also Roman remains and medieval pieces.

 

The Monographic Museum is a small but beautiful space where you will find informative panels and exhibits with pedestals and models that give insight into the historical process that took place in Tiermes. Aside from the cultural and historical aspect, you can also learn about the excavation process and the materials that were discovered.

 

Timetable:

From October to June, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
From July to September, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On Sundays and Holidays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Closed on Mondays.
