Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Deza)

Heritage of Cultural Interest since 1993.

This church, guarded by a strong tower, has three naves which are all of the same height and are separated by beautifully carved pillars. The major altar has a Baroque style and is the only one of this type that has been built in the dioceses of Sigüenza, dioceses which this parish once belonged to. It is worth mentioning a Baroque chapel with wreathed columns dedicated to Santísimo Cristo del Consuelo, patron of the town. There is also a beautiful altarpiece dedicated to Santa Brígida, and in the choir, there is a monumental organ.
